Moving into or living in the catchment area of a good school is
becoming more and more important for homebuyers, according to a national
important in fact that a small percentage of parents (ten per cent) are willing
to pay more than £50,000 for the privilege and others an average of £19,000 –
so says the latest research from a price comparison website.
parents will go to extreme lengths to secure a place at what they believe is a
top performing school – with 29 per cent admitting that they have moved house
specifically to be in the catchment area.
