As recommended local agent for the Home Sale Network, Thomas James are keen to share news and opinion from the Network. Linking Agents across the country, the Home Sale Network carried out a survey recently and reported back to members

“A recent survey conducted by Home Sale Network highlights that competition amongst potential tenants continues to increase with 68% of survey respondents indicating that they have seen up to a 50% increase in the number of potential tenants in the last year.

According to the survey, the vast majority of members (83%) cite two to three bedroom houses as the most in demand property type in the current rental market and 62% of respondents indicate the typical length of time the average tenant remains in the property is between a year to 18 months.”
